A massive effort. Pleasant oaked nose yet it doesn't hide the ripe, plumy and complex fruit aromas that give way to delicious yet serious, densely concentrated and mineral-laden flavors that completely coat the mouth on the long finish. There is both fine balance and overall harmony which should enable it to age well. Well worth seeking out from the 2006 vintage in Burgundy.
