"COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-very pretty; very aromatic; lemon/squash/dandelion; TASTE-many will like this - very vibrant, very fruit forward and some great back-end acidity (this is where it may lose some people); some honey when it first hits your palate; great length; lemon/lime meets floral meets big yellow squash; the acidity is raw & mean (which makes it a perfect food wine); like an imaginary Viognier/Sancerre blend; I really like this wine; GV-90+"

The result is wine with an outstanding personality and elegance. At La Forge Estate we craft our wines from low yield vines (2.6 tons per acres), with a long traditional vinification. Our Viognier is partly barrel fermented and aged in oak barrel, resulting in a quintessence of dry fruits, violette and quince flavors evolving toward peach and vanilla notes.
