"COLOR- dark; NOSE- unbelievably interesting; Halloween candy bag filled w/ chocolate dust & strawberries; loose tobacco; heavy on the cherries & black pepper; very intriguing nose; TASTE-huge massive dark blackberries; hints of cherry; massive amount of gorgeous tobacco (the dominant force of this wine); hint of black pepper; beautiful cherries; interesting blackberry/black currant component on the initial attack; great mid-palate transition; nice sour cherry and nice dryness; a lot of flavor & explosive; when it was decanted longer, it showed more floral aspects; great food wine; little bit of licorice."
