"The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon - Artist Series also contains 1% Cabernet Franc. and is a blend from five of the top vineyards in the state. It was aged predominantly in new French oak for 20 months. The wine is opaque purple-colored with a fragrant bouquet of pain grille, spice box, black cherry and black currants. It is full-bodied with a supple palate-feel, oodles of sweet fruit, and ripe tannins. This impressive effort manages to combine power and elegance. It will benefit from 3-5 years of cellaring and drink well through 2030."
