"Good medium ruby. Aromas of plum, dark raspberry and chocolate; slightly liqueur-like. Then fat, full and sweet in the mouth, with concentrated dark fruit and licorice flavors. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and excellent length. This, too, needs time. This vintage is still from old vines, but Beringer is in the process of replanting this vineyard."
