"Sourced from Wells Guthrie's top single-vineyard sources in Mendocino County, this is made from a saignee of mostly Pinot Noir with a small amount of Syrah. The wine is bled off the skins of the pinot and syrah at different times during cold soak once appropriate color has been achieved. It is then fermented in neutral barrels using 'native yeasts' and undergoes malolactic fermentation naturally. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered." -Winery
