"Stylish aromas of blackberries, violets and berries. Full-bodied, with ripe blackberry and licorice character. Round and caressing. This is a pure Cabernet Franc and very beautiful indeed. Dedicated to the late brother of Marilisa Allegrini. Best after 2006. 250 cases made."

"Dark, saturated ruby. Superripe aromas of blackberry and dark chocolate are complicated by spicy strawberry and smoke. Creamy-sweet and soft but fresh, with nearly syrupy flavors of blackberry and smoky spices. Fat and pliant, with the impression of low acidity contributing to the wine's opulent texture and accentuating its sweetness. And yet there's a juicy quality that gives shape to the fruit. The moderately long finish features substantial chewy, sweet tannins.
