"It tells you something about Australia's educational system that the Nuriootpa High School has a class project where the students make wine ... in this case a terrific Shiraz. Produced from a 25-year old Koonunga vineyard that is also the source of the Black Pepper Shiraz from E & E, this serious, deep ruby/purple-colored effort displays a wonderful nose of sweet blueberries, blackberries, graphite, and pepper. Offering full-bodied richness, beautiful purity, and a luscious, heady texture, it should drink well for a decade. The American importer donates all the proceeds from the sale of this wine to the school."
