The 2005 Finca de Arantei Albarino proved to be one of the best of its type in my Spanish wine tastings. Light gold in color, it offers abundant floral and mineral aromas reminiscent of a top Alsace Riesling but with more weight. This is followed by a round, medium-bodied wine with lots of green apple, pear, and honey flavors, good acidity, and a long, fruity finish. - 90 Points, Jay Miller of Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.
This harmonious combination of acidity, minerality, and ample fruit makes the Finca Arantei Albarino a versatile, food-friendly white with the stuffing to hold up on its own.
