Incredible Value from the 2004 Vintage in Bordeaux
We keep telling you about the wild values from the underrated 2004 vintage in Bordeaux... these wines are drinking beautifully tonight and come at a laughably low price tag due to the hype surrounding the 2003 and 2005 vintages. As you'll see in the video below, Gary Vaynerchuk simply adored the Aiguilhe Querre 2004... This wine comes from Cotes de Castillon, an unheralded area in its own right, lowering the price tag even further! And yes, we bought this long ago, before the spike of the Euro, meaning this is a wine that would be more than $20 a bottle if we tried to purchase it for you today.
A quick glance at Gary V's tasting notes will reveal why this blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cab Franc is a must have for any red wine lover.
COLOR-dark; TASTE-the ripeness & freshness of this fruit is obnoxious; extraordinarily lengthy finish; the '04 Vintage is giving immense pleasure now and will for the next 5 to 10 years; some black fruit flavors (suggests excellent ripeness); slight earthiness (starting to see just a hint of truffle, black olive & black pepper - these are just beginning which suggests this is still a really young wine); really firm tannins on the back-end; nice subtle Oak; incredibly pleasurable wine; better than the Justin and Franciscan that I've just tasted and liked; hints of leather & tobacco just starting on the tail end; this wine will rip your face off in 3-5 years-and for only $17.
Watch the video below as Gary V tastes the Auguihe Querre with the legendary Jeffrey Davies!

Take advantage of this stunning buy while it lasts today... the WL staff has been gradually picking away at our inventory of this wine and we needed to e-mail it to you all today while we still had enough to go around!
