At Wine Library, we are proud of the passion and the knowledge level of our staff, who in turn, can give great service to our customers. Read below for biographies on our Wine Consultants, their current wine picks, and information our new "Personal Shopper Program."

Personal Shopper Program


Here at Wine Library, we want to provide our customers with the best and most comprehensive help when shopping for wine. With this in mind, we are launching our "Personal Shopper Program."

In this program, you can contact any of our Wine Consultants below by e-mail to schedule an appointment, either in-store or on the phone, to help you with any and all of your wine needs.

Simply contact your Wine Consultant of choice and allow us to make your experience more customized and enjoyable!



Ian Dorin
Having begun his journey as a floor salesman at the Wine Library in November of 2001, Ian Dorin has since worked his way up the ladder to the head of the wine staff and a primary buyer for the store. He is passionate about wine and exposing people to new and different things, especially with food and wine pairings, and always makes himself available to consumers... Dennis Bulluck
Dennis started in the wine business in the early 90's and is very passionate about all wine regions but loves Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhones, California Cabs, Australia and South American wines. Kristen Murphy
Kristen always thought wine would be more of a hobby than a career path, but she quickly found her way into the professional wine world. Having just received her Masters in Professional French Studies, Kristen focused on Bordeaux wines, globalization and their future in the growing market. As a part of this program, she spent the 2008 harvest as a winemaker's intern in the Fronsac region in Bordeaux.

Because of her time abroad, Kristen has a profound love of all French wines, as well as the Italian, German, Portuguese and Spanish categories. Et si vous avez des questions en francais, je serai prete a repondre! You can follow Kristen on Twitter @kmurph.

Jim Gorman
Jim Gorman has been a Wine Consultant at the Wine Library since October 2004 having previously been an enthusiastic Wine Library customer. Jim has had a love for Bordeaux and Rhone wines for many years. He also looks forward to finding new and exciting value wines for enjoyment now and to lay down.

Frank Rhien
Wine and people share one thing; their own unique style, and after being in the business for 20 years, Frank loves that from both. He enjoys working and finding the best style that will fit your taste. From that weeknight wine, to the special occasion wine, to those looking for great collector wines, Frank's experience with wine has led him to discover some great hidden treasures your sure to enjoy.

Aaron Malcomnson
Aaron has worked in the wine world for the past 5 years, and feels he can offer a fresh outlook on a traditional industry. Despite a particular fondness for New World style, he maintains a reverence for the Old World. Julius Lasoff
Julius spent over 25 years in sales and marketing in the industrial and broadcast production industry. His interest in fine wine was a casual one for many years until a trip to France in 1996. Further trips to the wine regions of Italy, Spain and California fueled the flame, leading Julius to attend classes at the International Wine Center in NYC, receiving the WSET Advanced Certificate in 2006.
